Glaciers absolutely enthrall me, gorgeous images of rugged beauty, how humbling and inspiring to be hiking out there, directly confronted by the great forces of the Earth.
NICE. I grew up in Alaska and had the opportunity to experience hanging glaciers [like the ones pictured above] just outside of Whiiter. Five seperate glaciers released meltwater into the placid ocean water at the end of Blackstone Bay. Good times, to be sure.
If you could see the shite weather we’ve got in Yorkshire at the moment, you’d understand why I spent a full 5 minute just looking at the first picture. Breathtakeing stuff.
Wow, what an amazing place to hike and photograph.

Incredible, where is this?!
Dunno. Found all these on the internet!
Heck, yeah!
The photos of the glacier are marvelous. The colors you’ve captured are fantastic, and I really like the waterfall coming from the glacier.
Thanks for visiting my site.
I didn’t take those pics. I found them on the internet and thought they we’re breathtaking and I had to share them.
The first one is from Franz Josef glacier, in the South Island of New Zealand. I’ve got a few more if you want to check them:
